Spell check is great. I didn't know how many words I mispelled until I met it. But then it changes 'idiot' to 'root'. Shouldn't it be the other way around, spell check??

The Younger Fates Entire are bored with the wishes coming from the mortal world...so they wish for a fun wish...but, in wishing, they forget to specify fun for who...never mind that fun to the Wild Fates is wildness, and fun to the Kissing Fates is lots of kisses, or that fun to their Dark Fate friend is lots of meanness...
Byran's book 4, Byran Spiritsong, the 5th book in the Younger Fates Entire series, is out in print as of the 21st. In book 4, the Pale Fates ask Byran to travel to the past to help lay Thirteen Dark Fate Wizard Ghosts. Once there he becomes a legend...
Byran's book 5, I am getting a handle on. I have a few scenes left to write, and I am avoiding a love scene--as usual--but I've got all the threads that need tying up in hand. (I hope!)

It was a good week for inking the 2016 calendar pictures. Usually I wait till I have all the sketches to do the inks, but, when I discovered I had not 8 but 11 of the sketches, I got so excited, I started inking. So, life, I am not so behind as I think I am... Was it a Prince Valiant cartoon I remember that he thought he had come in last in the race, but, no, he had driven so fast, he was a day early??
Book review:
I just read 'Tempest In A Teapot' by Amanda Cooper. I liked the story all right, except some of the writing seemed a hair strained--for instance, the first scene with her old love.
The main character, like a lot of cozy mystery characters leaves the big city for a small town. The second usual cliche of cozy mysterys (love-gone-bad) wasn't there, that was nice. I appreciated the cat on the cover was actually in the story and not just once. When I shut the book at the end, I felt something wasn't right, something was left dangling. I traced that back to the poor cat left living alone in the dead woman's house. Dangling cats are upsetting to cat lovers like me.
Now I've seen the second book in the series. She changed the main character??!!
